Pour ne pas laisser les multinationales de la tech s’allier au gouvernement français pour alimenter cette fuite en avant délétère et écocide, La Quadrature du Net et le collectif Le Nuage était sous nos pieds, en lien avec les membres de la coalition Hiatus, appellent à la suppression de l'article 15 et à l’adoption d’un moratoire sur la construction des grands entrepôts à serveurs !

Radio Irrtum! – der multi lingual (GER/ENG) Jahresrückblick 2024

Ja Mensch, schon wieder neues Jahr — Zack kommt ein 2024-Rückblick und all das als Neujahresgruß für meine Freund:innen. / Well… new year, bam, 2024-Review… And that wrapped up as New Years greetings for my friends, how's that?

That means, more gentle music (not as experimental as usual) for normal people 😉 — you may judge how well that goes / In dem Sinne also wesentlich freundlichere Musik (nicht ganz so experimentell als sonst) — ich hoffe es jedenfalls.

A lot of things went wrong; I'm not kidding / Jede Menge Sachen ging schief:

Schwächen / Weak points:

Erstmal habe ich festgestellt, dass ich keine Ahnung habe, was eigentlich an "normaler" guter Musik sonst so im Radio läuft und mir dann der Einfachheit halber die ByteFM-Albumcharts des Jahres vorgenommen, weil ich weiß, dass das eine gut kuratierte Liste ist. Aber manch eine:r mag sich da etwas veralbert vorkommen. Verstehe ich. Sorry dafür. / First of I've realized that I haven't a clue whats played in terms of good music at "normal" radio stations. So I simply opted to take a look into the Byte FM album Charts of 2024. Some may say that's cheating. I understand that, but I wouldn't go THAT far. Also the second half contains content that covers Radio Irrtum! genres in the first place / Zudem geht es in der zweiten Hälfte wirklich eher um Radio-Irrtum! typische Inhalte.

Oh, and I somehow forgot to mention DjRUM and his Album "Meaning's Edge" from 2024, which is definitely one of my 2024 favorites / Habe außerdem leider vergessen DjRUMs 2024-Album "Meaning's Edge" zu erwähnen, was richtig gut war.

Hefty Errors / Heftige Fehler:

Einmal spiele ich ein Lied und erkläre es anhand eines völlig anderen Künstlers und eines völlig anderen Albums; einmal behaupte ich, dass da ein Piano-Musik Album ist, was aber gar keins ist. In den Momenten wird aber eine Einblendung sichtbar, die das berichtigt / For once I play a track, and explain it by not mentioning the original artist but someone else, also the album title is wrong. And then for another track I mention it comes from an album full of piano music, only this is totally not the case. There will be a text overlay correcting this. Also some minor other errors either corrected by text overlays or I realize and correct my error already during the live situation / Gibt noch andere Fehler, die auch per Text-Einblendung korrigiert werden oder ich hab sie sowieso schon während der Aufnahme korrigiert.

Problematisch / Problematic:

One or two music videos played contain somewhat (decent / covered) explicit content (nothing that would go above sexual education in school however) / Ein zwei Videos beinhalten dezent sexuelle Andeutungen (aber nichts, was über normalen Aufklärungsunterricht in der Schule hinausgeht). Sage ich vorher aber an / I'll announce that beforehand so you may skip over it.

This is the first set I played on the Disklo aka Toiletparty aka Maskenball 2.0 at 38c3

It starts with the good old NL1 songs on a DMG and then shifts to NL2 on a NDS-Lite.
We had no limiter installed yet so there is a bit of infoloss but it sounds fine as far as I have checked.
